The Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) provides risk and insurance services to protect Victoria’s assets and minimise losses from adverse events.
VMIA initially engaged En Masse to provide training for its managers and leaders, as well as broader staff, on the intersection between human rights, the company’s values and mental wellbeing.
In the first phase of training we utilised a blended learning methodology. This began with an online introduction to social awareness and human rights followed by a series of dynamic interactive face to face workshops. We have also worked with VMIA to roll out training on self-awareness, unconscious bias and monitoring behaviours in accordance with the company values.
En Masse is currently working with VMIA at the policy and governance level to formally integrate human rights principles and behaviour change methodology into updated internal policy and guideline documents.
