Hugh has been working in education for over 10 years. Starting out as a primary school teacher he eventually moved into a position with Cricket Victoria as a development facilitator working with disengaged adolescents. After this he travelled to the far north of India, where he spent half a year volunteering in an under privileged school in a small desert community
Inspired by this experience Hugh returned to Melbourne and started his own venture. Running programs at a variety of schools and educational settings, Hugh focused on helping young people understand how their thinking patterns influence their emotions and behaviours. Of note, Hugh has developed and facilitated programs for troubled youth around regional Victoria, written and implemented programs for the Education Department and Step Back Think and designed and implemented school programs from prep through to year 12 on resilience and positive thinking skills.
