Participants will develop skills to build upon their own self awareness. Concepts like optimism, Seligman�s PERMA model for achieving wellbeing, the importance of explanatory style and how to discipline your thoughts are explored through individual and small group exercises. This session provides a useful definition of emotional intelligence and an explanation of how our brains work when we respond to stressful events at work. Participants can develop their own action plan for handling themselves better and thriving psychologically at work. All the material presented is evidence-based and it challenges people to make small changes in how they think and behave to achieve better productivity and enhanced personal wellbeing.
